Time to get the generator running because someone on bald tires will likely crash and take out the power. It fired up first pull after 2 months of sitting and that surprised me since I always kill the fuel line to run it dry before I put it away. Its an electric start but the battery is dead so I’m using the old school craftsman battery tender to charge it from its own power (I lost the plug the generator came with to trickle charge itself) and a 500 watt light to pull a little power through both outlets and get the motor revving.

Good idea. I filled a couple propane tanks and bought a spare filter/adaptor for the line to my Mr Buddy heater. Doesn’t look like it’ll do much up here in SW Va, but I’d rather be ready.
Filled the tank and checked all fluids in the new-to-me awd van: I have Wed off and plan to try it in the snow even if I have to go north to the mountains to do so.
